A FEW WORDS ABOUT THIS
GALLERY FROM LISE:
UNDER CONSTRUCTION: MANY MORE IMAGES TO COME! The
following theme was started in 1998. It started as an exploration first of
arrows (both kind, like Cupid's arrow, and painful, like heartbreak arrows). Eventually
that transformed into an investigation into the hearts themselves. Some hearts are
brimming with love; some hearts are cold or ominous. This theme coincided with a
time in my life when I was writing many of the songs for my Goldenrod CD (the "heartbreak and hope"
CD). Pottery is hand-thrown, high fired to
cone 10 (2350 degrees F), non-porous and food-safe. Fabric art is
primarily cotton unless otherwise noted.
