A FEW WORDS ABOUT THIS GALLERY FROM LISE:
The following pieces were inspired by my experiences as a Renaissance Faire performer and the theme followed the summer that we played at the Killington Renaissance Faire banquet in 2005. The idea came to me as we sat and toasted with our performer and actor friends at the banquet. Most of these pieces were exhibited at a 5-person invitational juried show called "Once Again" at the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Center in March of 2009. Pottery examples are high fired to cone 10 (2350 degrees F) and hand-thrown using a potters wheel. Pieces are non-porous. Goblets and bowls are food-safe. Fabric art is 100% cotton except where noted.
