Performances at Restaurants, Coffee Shops and Bars

Lise has played a lot of these over the years, especially in the nineties as a solo and in various duos and bands. Venues were located in New England, the Adirondacks, eastern New York and are too numerous to list but some of the ones that are memorable and distinctive to Lise are listed below:
The Parting Glass, Saratoga Springs, NY (Lise has played a wide assortment of music on this stage over the years)
The Loft in Troy, NY, a large upstairs gallery/performance venue with brightly colored swirl-y painted walls and cutting edge art (even the stage was painted!) and refreshments served in hand thrown expressively decorated bowls, plates and tilted coffee cups.
YOURS  in Schenectady, NY where Lise discovered the owners had built a very classy concert hall on the second floor over their bar. Singer/guitarist Miche Fambro and Lise were featured there in a concert once the discovery was made (recorded live by Mark Rabin).
The Olde Bryan Inn in Saratoga Springs, NY, a 1600s dwelling with stone walls and huge fireplaces converted into a classy Inn with great food
McGrath’s Irish Pub at the Inn at Long Trail in Killington, Vermont where Lise performed with Irish/maritime group, Skuttlebutt
Performances with Adirondack singer/songwriter Peggy Lynn (formerly Eyres) at a number of venues (names forgotten) in the Capital District.
Other memorable performances include Testa’s Restaurant, Bar Harbor, ME; Fire and Water, Northampton, MA; All Days and Onions, Bennington, VT.
Included at the very beginning of Lise’s career were a few years of weekly performances at such places as The Back Door Café, Glens Falls, NY; Stephanie’s Restaurant, Albany, NY and Starbucks (Niskayuna, Colonie, Latham, Saratoga, Schenectady and Albany, NY chapters); and monthly performances at Caffe Lena (where Lise was an open mike host for a number of years); The Summit Café in Chatham, NY; Uncommon Grounds near the Albany SUNY campus; The Pedestrian Cafe in Schenectady, NY across from the Union College campus, and Professor Java’s in Colonie, NY

Lise has also performed for weddings, house concerts, private parties, art openings and church functions.
